The City Attorney's Office is an integral part of the City's management team, providing legal guidance, preparing contracts, deeds, ordinances, resolutions, and legal opinions and reports. In addition, the City Attorney advises the City Council and City officers in all matters of law regarding their offices, including political ethics and the Brown Act.

What the City Attorney's Office Does NOT Do:
The City Attorney is authorized by the Pomona City Charter to serve the City of Pomona, its City Council, officers, and staff. The City Attorney is therefore not authorized to provide legal advice to the public, including City of Pomona residents.
