Adriana Robledo is a lifelong resident of the City of Pomona.
Councilwoman Robledo has worked in the downtown Pomona area for over 10 years.As a result, she became active with the Pomona Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Pomona Owner's Association. Miss Robledo served as a Vice President for the Pomona Chamber of Commerce and Entertainment Chair for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She has also been a member of the Pomona Chapter Women of the Moose and a former Board of Director for the Pomona Breakfast Optimist Club.
The Councilwoman's hallmark volunteerism began in high school while serving as the Class President at her alma mater, Garey High School. As a 2001 Miss Pomona Princess, she became an ambassador for the City of Pomona. Over the years, Councilwoman Robledo became increasingly familiar with aspects of the Pomona community by volunteering in many philanthropic causes. Later, she became the Parks & Recreation Commissioner for District 2 in 2004. In 2008, she was appointed to the Vehicle Parking District Commission, of which she later served as chairwoman.
Currently, Councilwoman Robledo works with a major health care provider where she assists members with their benefits and enrollment ofthe Affordable Care Act. As part of her continued community involvement, Councilwoman Robledo has participated in reviving and improving the Miss Pomona Scholarship Program and assists in organizing the annual Pomona Christmas Parade as well as helping with other community activities and organizations.
Councilwoman Robledo is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton having earned degrees in Political Science and in Chicano Studies. She also obtained a certificate to teach English as a Second Language from UCLA Extension.
